One ending became a new beginning in the 2023-2024 school year for Clairmont Presbyterian Kindergarten. Clairmont Presbyterian Kindergarten began in 1956 with a heart for all children in the community regardless of race or creed. The initial school was created to provide care for children of families within the church and it grew to reaching approximately 3,500 children in the community since 1956. The school was led by Barbara Powers for 40 years supported by many excellent teachers.
In the 2023/2024 year Barbara Powers answered the call to retirement. Clairmont Presybyterian Kindergarten opened their doors to Bridgepoint Church at Toco Hills to carry the baton of the school. Bridgepoint Church at Toco Hills is honored to be able to continue the legacy of the Clairmont Presbyterian School and commits to holding to the same excellent standards of care and learning for children in our community.
We are thankful to the staff of the Clairmont Kindergarten remaining at the Bridgepoint Preschool to help us maintain the highest standards of education in the years to come.
